Invention of Radar

Invention of the radar change the world. The radio waves gave new direction to the development of telecommunication. Today radio waves are using for transportation. Radar are used to identify the moving objects in the space. There are lot of areas the radar waves are being using.

Heinrich Hertz started the experiments about radio waves in 1887 in Germany. He found that the electric current swinging back and forth very rapidly in a conductor would radiate electromagnetic waves into the space. Those waves were named as Hertzian waves and now it is called as radio waves. Unit of the frequency of radio waves, cycles per second, were named as Hertz to pay to honor for this grate invention.

The Englishman, Sir Alexander Watson developed the radar to locate a aircraft. He developed device which can be located a aircraft in 1935. Christian Andreas Doppler, in 1842, observed that the frequency of light and sound waves was affected by the relative motion of the source and the detector. This phenomenon was named as Doppler effect. Dr Robert Rines found the high definition radar and the sonogram.
